Canberra Pooch Rescue (CPR) is made up of a group of independant
rescuers in Canberra and Queanbeyan, Australia, who primarily save dogs from
euthanasia. Our dogs are rescued from death row at pounds and shelters, and we focus on rescuing dogs that other groups cannot take.
The dogs are fostered in our own homes until we find them new forever
homes.
Whilst in our care the dogs are treated as part of the family and we
show them new things that they may not have experienced before, like
car rides, meeting cats and children and discovering other dogs. We
also endeavor to teach them basic manners and toilet training if
necessary. We make sure they are healthy happy dogs when they are
adopted.
All the foster carers with CPR operate independantly, and fund their
own rescue efforts. If you would like to help out, contact one of the
carers listed on the "Meet the Dogs" page, or go to our DONATIONS page.
